Valentin was born in Moscow in 1998. He spent half of his childhood outside Russia, in Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. In 2019, he graduated from IGUMO with a degree in photography and began working as a photo editor.
From 2022 to 2024, he lived in Kyrgyzstan, where he created the photo project “House 41,” which became the basis for his first solo exhibition. During this period, he taught photography at Compass College and the American University of Central Asia. Throughout 2022-2023, he actively participated in the creation and development of the self-organization Rubezh.
Since 2024, he has been a student at the Joseph Backstein Institute of Contemporary Art. His works are in the archive of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art.
